Entrance exam

The graduate school entrance examination (recommendation-based from National Colleges of Technology / general selection (oral and written)) for admission in 2026 was held in July. Please check the website of the Department of Engineering Sciences, Interdeciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences for information on the Plasma and Quantum Science and Engineering major under the category II.

At the "32nd Linear Accelerator Conference (LINAC2024)," held from August 25 to 30, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, Yuya Matsumoto from the Sakaki Laboratory presented a poster titled "Evaluating Beam Neutralization and Transport Dynamics in Laser-Driven Ion Accelerators." He was selected for the "Student Poster Award," which honors the most outstanding student poster presentation. This biennial international conference is a major event for the global linear accelerator community.

At the 29th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference(FEC2023) held from October 16 to 21, 2023, Assistant Professor Kinoshita from our department received the Outstanding Poster Award.
